The Latin American Training Program (LATP) is a unique training opportunity for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Fifteen outstanding candidates will be selected to participate as LATP Fellows and attend a three-week training course at the División de Neurociencias at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in Mexico City, from August 26 to September 13, 2019. The course “Enlightening the Brain: The Use of Light to Understand the Function of the Nervous System” will bring together top faculty from across the region to provide participants with high-quality lectures, lab exercises, and training on vital professional development topics.

LATP Fellows will also receive a travel stipend to attend Neuroscience 2020.

Visit SfN.org/latp to learn more about eligibility requirements and how to apply.

The LATP is provided by SfN with support from The Grass Foundation, the International Brain Research Organization, and the host institution – UNAM.
